Welcome to Lake Iamonia Lodge- one of the best-kept secrets in North Florida! Even though we’ve been hosting incredible events and creating precious memories for over 10 years, we must confess that this is our first time entering the digital realm! We know, we know- we’re a little late to the party, but better late than never, right? We have prided ourselves on the special moments that we have been able to host throughout the years, exclusively through the power of word-of-mouth. We are forever grateful for those who have chosen us to host life’s special moments, and look forward to serving more members of the Tallahassee community with our event space- perfect for weddings, business retreats, family gatherings, and private events!
For those who are already familiar with us, but have never interacted with us online, we’re so thrilled to finally have a virtual space to share the Iamonia Farms and Lake Iamonia Lodge experience with you!
For those who are discovering us for the first time, get ready to fall in love with our magical property and venue nestled beneath the towering pines and magestic , moss-covered oaks just off of Lake Iamonia in Tallahassee!
About The Lodge:
Our event venue is a versatile space that can be tailored to your specific needs. The main Lodge building is a beautiful structure with a wrap-around porch that offers serene views of the surrounding woods. Inside, rustic wood, exposed rafters on cathedral ceilings, and a large stone fireplace make for a warm and welcoming ambiance. The main Lodge building is connected to an Annex building via an open air deck. The Annex houses several rooms for mixed use, including several rooms perfect for brides and their wedding parties to get ready for their big day!
The outdoor spaces are just as idyllic, featuring a lush lawn with an oak tree hammock, and a bonfire area with several open-air structures. These structures are ideal for a band or bar to set up, and we’ve even had fresh shucked oysters served from them! The surrounding woods on Iamonia Farms make for a truly magical, natural backdrop for wedding photos. Whether you want to dance under the stars, enjoy a bonfire with friends, mingle on the lawn for cocktails, or enjoy some peaceful rocking on our porch chairs, Lake Iamonia Lodge has got you covered.
Our event venue can accommodate up to 250 people, making it perfect for medium-sized gatherings. The flexibility of the space, with the outdoor areas, and multiple buildings allows the versatility of having the event as intimate or expansive as you wish! We are located on North Meridian Road, which is a scenic canopy drive not far from Tallahasse and just south of the Georgia-Florida state line. This location provides easy access to the city (via I-10 and the Tallahassee Airport), allowing ease for out of town guests, while still giving you a peaceful and secluded setting for your event.
